George Garrett or Garrard was an English Member of Parliament. He was a younger son of Sir William Garrard of Dorney Court, Buckinghamshire and Elizabeth, daughter of Sir Thomas Rowe, Lord Mayor of London 1568–69. He was educated at Merton College, Oxford, from 1594, graduating BA in 1597 and MA in 1603. He was a friend of the queen's lady in waiting Cecily Bulstrode and when she died in August 1609 he asked Ben Jonson to write an epitaph. He was a Gentleman of the Privy Chamber extraordinary to
