Major Sir George Frederick Davies, CVO was a British Conservative Party politician. He served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Yeovil from 1923 to 1945. He was born in Honolulu in the Kingdom of Hawai'i, the son of Theophilus Harris Davies. He was educated at Uppingham School and then at King's College, Cambridge. During the First World War, he served in The Gloucestershire Regiment. He married in 1900, and had two sons and three daughters. He was briefly British vice-consul in Honolulu. Whils
