The Gay Liberation Network (GLN) is a multi-issue LGBT direct action organization based in Chicago, Illinois. The group was founded in September 1998, after Matthew Shepard was murdered and three gay bashings that took place in Boystown, Chicago. It was originally called the Chicago Anti-Bashing Network; the group changed its name in 2004 to the Gay Liberation Network.
