Gary P. Sampson is professor of international trade at Melbourne Business School (MBS), Melbourne University, Australia. In 1986, he was appointed director at the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade in Geneva, and then in 1995, director at the World Trade Organization, where he has directed a number of divisions.
