Garson Romalis was a Canadian gynecologist who specialized in providing abortions. He was twice wounded in attempts on his life. The first attempt on his life was by far the most violent anti-abortion crime in Canada, according to the National Post. The second attempt was made by an unknown assailant who stabbed him and fled.
