Fizalia Island is the mostly ice-covered rocky island 330 m long in southeast-northwest direction and 180 m wide, lying off the northeast coast of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It is “named after the ocean fishing trawler Fizalia of the Bulgarian company Ocean Fisheries – Burgas whose ships operated in the waters of South Georgia, Kerguelen, the South Orkney Islands, South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula from 1970 to the early 1990s.
