text: The Fife Flyers are a Scottish professional ice hockey team in Kirkcaldy, Fife. Established in 1938, the Flyers are the oldest still-extant club in the country. The Flyers play their home games at Fife Ice Arena, which has a capacity of just over 3,000. They joined the EIHL in 2011. They are currently coached by the Canadian Tom Coolen, a one-time Buffalo Sabres assistant coach.
