Fewell School is a historic site located in Fewell, Oklahoma. Fewell, 10 miles east of Nashoba, Oklahoma, is a rural community in the Kiamichi Mountains of Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. Fewell School was constructed by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1936-1937 as a Great Depression public works project. As built, the school consisted of three rooms and measured 28 by 42 feet. An extension measures 15 by 13 feet feet and changed the building's formerly rectangular footprint to that of a
