Federico Díaz Legórburu served as the first Chief Scout of the Asociación de Scouts de Venezuela, Chairman of the Interamerican Council of Scouting, as well as a member of the World Scout Committee from 1957 to 1963. He joined the Scout movement in 1926 at the Alemán Valencia Catholic College and made his Scout promise on September 9, 1933. He translated several classics of Scout literature into Spanish, such as The Patrol System by Roland Philipps and wrote many Scout manuals. The first Constit
