title: Fatou–Bieberbach domain
text: In mathematics, a Fatou–Bieberbach domain is a proper subdomain of C n , biholomorphically equivalent to C n . That is, an open set Ω ⊊ C n is called a Fatou–Bieberbach domain if there exists a bijective holomorphic function f : Ω → C n whose inverse function f − 1 : C n → Ω is holomorphic. It is well-known that the inverse f − 1 can not be polynomial.
