Farmington is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Wharton Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. Farmington is located along U.S. Route 40, the National Road, approximately 60 miles (97 km) southeast of Pittsburgh, and is the closest settlement to Fort Necessity National Battlefield.
