text: Frederick Maxwell Bradshaw was an Australian barrister, writer, and Presbyterian elder. Bradshaw was born in Melbourne and educated at Scotch College and the University of Melbourne. He was admitted to the Bar in 1936. Bradshaw became an elder of Hawthorn Presbyterian Church in 1941. In 1959 he became procurator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Australia (PCA). He served in that role until his death, and played a vital part in the continuation of the PCA after the formation
