text: Eucalyptus selachiana is a mallee that is native to a small area in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The mallee typically grows to a height of 1.7 to 3 metres and has glossy adult leaves. It blooms between February and April producing simple triad inflorescences with white flowers. It is found among low open woodlands in the Gascoyne region between Carnarvon and Shark Bay where it grows in sandy calcareous soils. Eucalyptus selachiana was first formally described in 1998 by Lawrie Johns
