Ernest de Munck was a Belgian cellist and composer. Born in Brussels to the cellist François de Munck, he was taught by his father as well as Adrien-François Servais. He later taught at the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music. However, he is perhaps best known for the Stradivarius cello he once owned that now bears his name.
