text: Erik Øksnes was a Norwegian actor whose main work was on the stage. Øksnes made his stage debut in 1954 as Amos in Arthur Miller's The Man Who Had All the Luck at the National Traveling Theater. He was later employed at the Rogaland Theater from 1963 to 1966, the Trøndelag Theater from 1966 to 1969, and the Norwegian Theater from 1969 onward. On stage, he showed strength in modern realistic drama, among other things with the lead role in Eugene O'Neill's A Moon for the Misbegotten at the Trøndel
