Epioblasma ahlstedti, commonly called the Duck River dartersnapper, is a species of freshwater mussel, an aquatic bivalve mollusk in the family Unionidae, the river mussels. It is native to Alabama and Tennessee in the southeastern United States, where it is endemic to the Tennessee River drainage. Although it is currently known only from the Duck River in Tennessee, museum specimens document that it was also historically found in the Buffalo River, the main stem of the Tennessee River at Muscle
