Enrique Valentín Iglesias García is a Spanish-born and a Legal-Uruguayan-Citizen economist. He served as the first president of the Central Bank of Uruguay from 1967 to 1969. He has also served as President of the Inter-American Development Bank from 1988 to 2005, an international institution dedicated to furthering economic development in the Western Hemisphere through investment and policy formulation.
