Emily Wu, born 3 June 1958 in Beijing, is a Chinese-American writer whose short stories have appeared in magazines and newspapers, and in an anthology of poetry and prose. She went to the United States of America in 1981 and has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, and an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California. In 2006 she published a memoir, Feather in the Storm: A Childhood Lost in Chaos telling her story of growing up
