text: Waverley was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales, originally created in 1894, with the abolition of multi-member constituencies, out of part of Paddington, and named after and including the Sydney suburb of Waverley. In 1904 Waverley lost part of the seat to Randwick and was expanded to include parts of Woollahra and Randwick. In 1920, with the introduction of proportional representation, it was absorbed into Eastern Suburbs. Waverley was
