title: Electoral district of Hampden
text: Hampden was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Victoria from 1904 until its abolition in 1976. Most of the territory located in the old division of Hampden was transferred into the re-created electorate of Ripon. Hampden's most notable member was the longest serving Premier of Victoria Sir Henry Bolte. The seat was historically a conservative bastion, having never been won by Labor for more than one term.
