Egon restaurant is a Norwegian restaurant concept that opened its first restaurant on Nordstrand in Oslo in 1984. Egon is a registered trademark and owned by Norrein AS in Trondheim. The headquarters are located in Trondheim. The name is obtained from the film figure Egon Olsen from the Olsen Gang (Olsenbanden). Arve Opsahl, who had this role in the Norwegian films about Olsenbanden, was among the guests at the opening. Olsen's bowler hat is also used in the marketing of the restaurant chain. Th
