Edwin 'Ed' H. Bideau III was a lawyer, farmer, rancher, and Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 9th district. Bideau was a 5th generation Kansan who graduated from Chanute High School, Neosho County Community College, and then went on to get both a business and law degree from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, where he met and married his wife Margaret. They moved back to Chanute the day after Bideau passed the bar exam so he could serve as Assistant C
