text: Edward Lyon Fellowes was an English first-class cricketer and clergyman. The son of Thomas Lyon Fellowes, he was born in April 1845 at Beighton, Norfolk. He was educated at Marlborough College, before going up to Brasenose College, Oxford. While studying at Oxford, he made his debut in first-class cricket for Oxford University against the Marylebone Cricket Club at Oxford in 1865.
