text: The Ebisugahana Shipyard was a shipyard opened in 1865 in Bakumatsu period Japan, located in the Chinto neighborhood of the city of Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture in the San'yō region of Japan. The site was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 2013. In 2007, it was certified as a modern industrial heritage by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
