Easton Lodge railway station was located to the west of Great Dunmow, Essex, near Easton Lodge. The station on the Bishop's Stortford to Braintree branch line. The station closed in 1952, with the line being used for freight until it was closed in 1972. It was described in the Railway Magazine: The station was built in 1895, significantly later than the rest of the line, and was funded by the Earl and Countess of Warwick at a cost of £140 plus £52 annually for 10 years for upkeep; they also allo
