The doppa or doppi is a square or round skullcap originating in Central Asia, worn by Uyghurs, Uzbeks, Kazan Tatars, and Tajiks. The doppa is a specific type of hat within the Tubeteika category. The doppa is derived from the Khwarazmians, more pointed, and an ancestral cap, which can be seen in some of the portraits of Jalaleddin Mingburnu.
