Doștat is a commune located in Alba County, Transylvania, Romania. As of 2021, it has a population of 980 and is composed of three villages: Boz, Dealu Doștatului, and Doștat. The commune is situated in the southeastern part of the county, on the border with Sibiu County. By road, it is at a distance of 26.7 km (16.6 mi) from Sebeș, 41.5 km (25.8 mi) from the county seat, Alba Iulia, and 54.4 km (33.8 mi) from Sibiu.
