District School No. 11 is located on South Jefferson Avenue in Catskill, New York. It was built in 1833, with an addition added around 1855. It was operated continuously as a school until 1948. The school was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. This school is an exemplary representation of the one-room school house prevalent in rural New York State in the nineteenth century.
