It is found in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Uganda. The larvae feed on Veronia amygdalina, Cordia abyssinica, Manihot esculentus and Phytolacca dodecandra.
