Putative pre-mRNA-splicing factor ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX16 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the DHX16 gene. DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases.
