Dhap is a market center in Api Municipality in Darchula District in the Mahakali Zone of western Nepal. The formerly Village Development Committee was merged to form new municipality since 18 May 2014. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4092 people living in 694 individual households. The major ethnic group living in Dhap are Brahmins and Chhetris with the majority of Bista (Brahmin), Joshi, Bhatta, Pant, Raikhola caste. Temple of God Malikarjun and Temple of God =Latina
