Depressaria prospicua is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1914. It is found in South Africa. The wingspan is 19–20 mm. The forewings are whitish ochreous, tinged here and there with brownish, with some scattered blackish specks and with a blackish-grey spot on the base of the costa, its edge marked with a black dot above the middle of the wing, the corresponding dorsal space whitish.
