Tararan is a village in Bazarjan Rural District, in the Central District of Tafresh County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 68, in 30 families. Tararan is a summer resort and its main cultivation is walnut. Tararan has an old lush field called dasht (field) which is popular among many urban people who know the area and is used as a strolling area. Remains of a very old mill is buried on the way to the dasht. The language of the village was in older times a kind of
