David Charles Pook is an English former professional footballer. He was manager of Western League club Torrington until June 2007. Pook was born in Plymouth and began his career as an apprentice with Bristol City. He moved to Torquay United during his apprenticeship and made his league debut while still an apprentice, as a substitute in the 1–1 draw at home to Bolton Wanderers on the final day of the 1971–72 season which by that time had already seen Torquay relegated to the Fourth Division.
