Dasylirion is a genus of North American flowering succulent plants in the asparagus family, all native to Mexico and the American Southwest. In the APG III classification system, Dasylirion is placed in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Nolinoideae. Dasylirion are dioecious, with the male and female flowers on separate plants.
