Dany Vandenbossche was a Belgian politician. As a member of the sp.a, he served from 1999 to 2009 in the Flemish Parliament. He left politics after his party offered him no electable position in the 2009 elections. In October 2013, he became president of the Louis Paul Boon Society and was also chairman of the Vermeylenfonds. He obtained a master's degree in law and criminology from the University of Ghent. Vandenbossche, age 57, died on 1 December 2013 in Ghent.
