Danijel Subašić is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Subašić began his career in Croatia with Zadar and Hajduk. In January 2012, he joined Monaco, and went on to make 292 competitive appearances for them over eight-and-a-half years. He won Ligue 2 in 2012–13 and Ligue 1 in 2016–17, also being named the league's Goalkeeper of the Year in the latter season. Subašić made his senior international debut for Croatia in 2009.
