D.A.V. P.G. College also known as DAV Degree College is a Government-Aided degree college affiliated to the University of Lucknow and recognised by University Grants Commission. It was established in 1948 by Pandit Ras Bihari Tiwari and Shri Bhrigu Dutt Tiwari. It is based on the ideals of Dayananda Saraswati and Arya Samaj. The college has its origin in a school started in the premises of Arya Samaj temple in Ganeshganj locality in 1918. In 1926, the school shifted to the present premises, and
