text: Człuchów County is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Pomeranian Voivodeship, northern Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Człuchów, which lies 115 kilometres (71 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk. The county also contains the towns of Czarne, lying 28 km (17 mi) west of Człuchów, and Debrzno, 16 km (10 mi) south-west of Człuchów
