text: Cyclohymenia is a fungal genus in the family Lecideaceae. It contains the single species Cyclohymenia epilithica, a saxicolous (rock-dwelling) crustose lichen found in western North America and described as a new species in 2017 by Bruce McCune and Marc Curtis. The type specimen was collected by the first author from the North Ridge Trail to Marys Peak, at an elevation of 826 m (2,710 ft); it was found growing on shaded andesite rock.
