Cryptosporidium serpentis is a protozoal parasite that infects the gastrointestinal tract of snakes.
Sporated oocysts of C. serpentis are intermittently shed in the feces, and transmission is primarily via fecal-oral route. C. serpentis is a gastric parasite, primarily colonizing the stomach.
