Cresomycin is an experimental antibiotic. It binds to the bacterial ribosome in both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, and it has been found to be effective against multi-drug-resistant stains of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
