Cosquín is a small town in the province of Córdoba, Argentina, located about 52 km (32 mi) west of the city of Córdoba, and 783 km (487 mi) from Buenos Aires. It had about 57,000 inhabitants at the 2010 census [INDEC]. It is the head town of the Punilla Department, and is located on the banks of the Cosquín River, and on the foot of a small mountain.
