text: Compsolechia abruptella is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Francis Walker in 1864. It is found in Amazonas in Brazil and in Peru. Adults are cinereous brown, the forewings with a black basal point and a black spot in the disc near the base and a white line extending obliquely outward from two-thirds of the length of the costa, and forming a very acute angle, contiguous on the inner side with two longitudinal black streaks.
