text: The Collins & Milazzo exhibitions were a series of art exhibitions curated by the team Tricia Collins and Richard Milazzo, mainly in New York in the mid-1980s to early 1990s. From 1982 to 1984 the pair founded, edited and published Effects : Magazine for New Art Theory. Drawing on their experience with the magazine, in 1984 Collins & Milazzo began working together as curators to transform the group show into a critical statement.
