The Cold Springs Ranch House near Forsyth, Montana is a log house built in 1908. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. The ranch house is a 1+1⁄2-story building built of peeled, hewn cottonwood logs. It is located on the north side of U.S. Route 12, about 3 miles (4.8 km) west-northwest of Forsyth. It was deemed "significant as the principal residence and headquarters site of Rosebud County's largest late 19th/early 20th century cattle and sheep ranching operation. T
