Claude Charles Marie du Campe de Rosamel was a French politician and naval officer. Rosales was born at the Château de Rosamel in Frencq, Northern France on June 24, 1774. He was commander of the Pomone in the action of 29 November 1811 against the British. Rosamel was wounded in action. He served as French naval minister from September 6, 1836 until March 31, 1839.
