Ścięgny is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Podgórzyn, within Jelenia Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 13 km (8 mi) south of Jelenia Góra, and 97 km (60 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław. The village was first mentioned in a document of the Wrocław cathedral chapter from 1305, when it was part of fragmented Piast-ruled Poland.
