Chris T. Hendrickson is an American environmental engineer. Hendrickson was born in Oakland, California, and earned his bachelor's and first master's degree from Stanford University in 1973. He received a Rhodes Scholarship for further study at the University of Oxford, where he obtained a second master's degree in 1975. Hendrickson completed a doctorate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1978. He then began teaching at Carnegie Mellon University. Hendrickson was appointed Duquesne
