text: Chlamydastis molinella is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Caspar Stoll in 1781. It is found in French Guiana. The wingspan is about 25 mm. The base of the forewings is light golden ocherous with a thin dark brown costal margin and a broader dark dorsal margin. The central two-thirds of the wing are dark brown mixed with bluish white scales, the three upper ones of which are golden ocherous, while the two smaller lower ones have the same color as the surrounding parts.
